How to Live Out a Faith Life

God wants us to trust Him at His Word and what He desires to do in us and through us for His glory. May these Scriptures encourage and ignite a fire in you to grow your faith and trust in God. Hard? Yes, but God also wants to be present in every part of our lives as well as having coming alongside each other to encourage and inspiring one another to keep walking the faith life!



(S) “When it was beyond hope, he had faith in the hope that he would become the father of many nations, in keeping with the promise God spoke to him: That’s how many descendants you will have. 19 Without losing faith, Abraham, who was nearly 100 years old, took into account his own body, which was as good as dead, and Sarah’s womb, which was dead. 20 He didn’t hesitate with a lack of faith in God’s promise, but he grew strong in faith and gave glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God was able to do what he promised. 22 Therefore, it was credited to him as righteousness.”

Romans 4:18-22 CEB

(P) God, even as Abraham had faith in You and Your promise to him, may ___ have that same faith that does not waiver. May ___ grown strong in faith, recognizing it is You who gives ___ the amount of faith needed to trust in Your promise/s You have for ___.

(P) Father, may You create a hunger within ___ to read Your Word so that ___’s faith will grow in You.


(S) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”

Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT

(P) Remove every weight, and thing that distracts ___, especially the sins that are more of an obstacle for ___. Help ___ focus on moving forward with the plan You have for ___ Lord and stay engaged so that You Father can perfect Your good work in ___. May ___ see a glimpse of the joy that is ahead in obeying and following the path You have for ___. Thank You for the price You paid for ___.


(S) “5 So, because of this, you should strain every nerve to supplement your faith with virtue, and your virtue with knowledge, 6 and your knowledge with self-control, and your self-control with patience, and your patience with piety, 7 and your piety with family affection, and your family affection with love. 8 If you have these things in plentiful supply, you see, you will not be wasting your time, or failing to bear fruit, in relation to your knowledge of our Lord Jesus the Messiah. 9 Someone who doesn’t have these things, in fact, is so short-sighted as to be actually blind, and has forgotten what it means to be cleansed from earlier sins.”

2 Peter 1:5-9 NTE

(P) You ask us God to do all we can add to our faith the virtues of knowledge, self control, patience, and devotion. Bring ___ to a place where each of these virtues grow and develop within ___.


(S) “2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

James 1:2-4 NIV

(P) Help ___ have a joyful outlook on the trials ___ is going through, being reminded that the benefit of it is perseverance and not lacking a thing needed to go through life.


(S) “19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’ 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.’”

Matthew 17:19-21 NKJV

(P) Jesus, You show the example that unbelief prevents our prayers from being effective, even in the casting out of demons. Forgive ___ of unbelief and help ___ have faith to believe that You can do anything according to Your will for Your glory. May ___ be dedicated to prayer and fasting in Jesus’ name.


(S) “When Jesus turned and saw her, he said, “Be encouraged, daughter. Your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that time on.”

Matthew 9:22 CEB

(P) Heavenly Father, may ___ has the same faith as the woman did to believe Jesus for healing.


(S) “13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone merry? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.”

James 5:13-15 MEV

(P) I praise You Father for Your compassion to towards us to heal the sick and to answer our prayer according to our faith. May ___ faith increase and believe You God can do all that You say You will do.


(S) “Listen, stay alert, stand tall in the faith, be courageous, and be strong.”

1 Corinthians 16:13 VOICE

(P) May You give ___ the courage and strength to stand tall in my/their faith in You Lord.


(S) “ But you, Timothy, man of God: Run for your life from all this. Pursue a righteous life—a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, courtesy. Run hard and fast in the faith.”

(P) Help ___ pursue a godly life of faith, love, patience and kindness. May ___ lean on You Lord to run hard after Your ways, trusting You through it all.
