Amy is married to her husband Chris and they have two amazing daughters, Avery (14) and Kinsey (6). Amy is Vice President and General Manager of KJRH 2 News Oklahoma which is the NBC affiliate in Tulsa, OK. Amy’s passion for journalism began after a 3 month college missions trip to Africa. Amy met a production crew there and fell in love with telling stories of amazing people and the rest is history.
Her passion is community. She serves on numerous boards including: The Tulsa Chamber, The Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa and serves as in-coming Chair of the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters. Amy spent many years building and launching the national Christian television network, GEB America.
Her passions include working to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Her oldest daughter was diagnosed T1 when she was just 7. In her free time she loves making memories with her family, singing and enjoying the lake.
