From Heart Surgery to Finding God

Hostess Michelle interviews her friend Visa and her amazing story of what God has done in her life overseas. From a young girl needing heart surgery made possible in the States to learning God has a purpose for her life, she'll inspire you!

Show Notes

  • Visa came to United States for heart surgery through Samaritan Purse's Heart Project

  • She is from a Muslim family in Kosovo

  • The love Visa received in the United States from the host family changed her heart.

  • She felt guilty praying in her room by herself to God. She thought you had to go pray in public but she wanted it to be private and personal with God.

But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

Matthew 6:6 NLT

  • English interpreters in Kosovo kept inviting Visa to their church and conferences to where she kept going and learning more and more about God.

  • Visa started to have health issues again and they were trying to find a way to get her back to USA from October to May

  • They trusted God timing that there would help for her.

"The moment I heard about Him (God) and accepted Him in my heart, I just knew that the reason I was born with heart problems is because that was just my way to salvation. To me these heart problems were my greatest blessings, that was just how I was suppose to get saved."

  • She learned to let God carry her burdens and for her not to take her burdens back when her health got bad again.

"God has always used my heart disease, my heart problem to just keep me closer to His heart."
