Maggie Bond

Maggie was born and raised in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where she graduated high school then went on to attend college at Oklahoma City University. She received 2 degrees, one in music with a focus in opera and one in business with a focus in economics. Maggie is a quadruplet, the only girl with 3 brothers, and 2 of her 3 brothers live on the autism spectrum.

Proverbs 31:8-9 is a scripture she lives her life by. For most of her life Maggie has committed countless hours to serving, advocating, educating, lobbying, volunteering, and raising awareness of the capability and value of her brothers along with friends and loved ones who live with disabilities- for their holistic inclusion and the value of their abilities. She elevated that message through competing in the Miss Oklahoma Organization holding many local titles over 7 years to promote inclusion, using her economic studies to prove the value of inclusion in business, as well as any stage she performed on to share the message of including people of all abilities.

Now, Maggie helps run a nonprofit coffee shop in Broken Arrow called “Not Your Average Joe” that creates a fun and intentional opportunity for people living with disabilities to have a quality job.

Some fun facts about Maggie are that she can sing extremely high, she's very invested in health and fitness, most of her performances these days have led her to sing for military ceremonies and veterans, she's a singer/songwriter, and she's an avid rock climber.

Maggie's faith, family, friends, fitness, and advocating for her loved ones are everything to her!
