Living in Peace

When experiencing life's challenges, we can ask the Holy Spirit to bring us peace. He is peace. He offers us peace no matter the circumstances. Focus on God and what He offers you.

(S) “Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.”

John 14:27 GNT

(P) Thank You for giving peace to ___. Your gift of peace can remove all worry and tension in ___. Help ___ see who You are in me/them so ___ can be fearless.

(S) “He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”

Isaiah 53:5 NIV

(P) Thank You Jesus for Your willingness to take the punishment ___ deserved from our sin. Your suffering brings ___ peace. By the wounds You received, ___ is healed.

(S) “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

Philippians 4:6-9 NLT

(P) Help ___ not worry about anything, but talk to You Father instead. May ___ praise You while telling You ___’s needs. May ___ experience Your peace that goes beyond what ___ can imagine. May Your peace guard ___’s heart and mind. Help ___ fix my/their thoughts on things that are true, honorable, right, pure and lovely.

(S) “Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.”
