We have the responsibility and privilege to pray for the leadership of our country. God has given us as believers in Jesus Christ, the authority to pray for our nation to be guided by God, giving wisdom to those overseeing the affairs of our nation. We can make a difference in our prayers to change the atmosphere so that lives within any nation can be touched by the favor of God over His own children. We can be faithful to pray continually for that goes on, knowing God can shift things around for the good of God's people.
(S) “However, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, search for me, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear their prayer from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their country.”

(P) You protect us Lord. Preserve us from the troubles present in ourcountry. When faced with the reality of how the world is, may You stir our heart with Your songs of deliverance, knowing that in Your presence there is peace and refreshing. You guide with strength and courage. Help us place our trust in You to turn things around in this country and throughout the elections, seeking Your wisdom in vote. Keep the candidates, their meetings, the delegates and media safe from every kind of harm and deliver us from any evil plots that have been arranged.
